Prayers for Easter Sunday

Let us pray like we actually want the resurrected Messiah's reign and agenda -- which of course is submitted to God the Father's kingdom and will.

Interceding for Ourselves & Others

Our Father, in heaven:
Your kingdom come, your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.

Jesus, the Light of the world:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us shine your light and peace for the nations.

Jesus, the Good Shepherd:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us have your heart for those you put in our midst.

Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us show your ways to those lost in lies and death.

Jesus, the Bread of life:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us give your abundance to those in need.

Jesus, the Vine:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us bear your fruit by resting in your love.

Jesus, the Resurrection:
We want your reign and agenda, not our own:

Help us live your resurrected life

by dying to our own reign and agenda each day.
We pray for your glory, not our own. Amen!
