Jordan River Is Flowing By — a new hymn

In the old-fashioned style of the camp meeting revival songs in the late 1800s and early 1900s, here's my adaptation of a 1910 lyric by Ada Blenkhorn — find out a bit more about her here: https://hymnary.org/person/Blenkhorn_Ada.
Ada's text followed a meter of 7.7.9.7.7.9 with a refrain of 6.11.6.11. My adaptation follows the meter of the 1893 tune Roll Call by James M. Black, best known as “When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder”. Thus my meter is 7.8.11.7.8.11 with the refrain being 8.8.8.11.
Would your heart be free from sin?
To have the peace of God within?
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_
Want pure innocence to know?
Then to the cleansing waters go
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_
[refrain:]
Yes, His blood_ is right here for_ you
Yes, His blood_ will not deny_ you
Yes, His blood_ is flowing by_ you
So step into His healing grace while you can
Have you sought in vain for rest?
And doubted whether God knows best?
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_
Naaman found God’s Word was true
His Word will be the same for you
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_ [refrain]
Pride will tempt you to declare
I’ll better water find elsewhere
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_
Humbly heed: “Wash and be clean”
On God’s good promises do lean
Well your Jordan River’s flowing by you now_ [refrain]
Congregations may find it helpful to read through the text aloud before singing it for the first time.
